My name is Ali Andrus, and I currently work in Gainesville, Florida, after growing up in the Mountain West. I hold a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and Worksite Wellness from the University of West Florida and am credentialed as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) and a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC™) in progress.
My professional background spans health, education, and athletics. I competed as a collegiate athlete and later worked as a Division 1 coach, experiences that shaped my understanding of the relationship between lifestyle, performance, and long-term health.
A personal family history of preventable chronic disease has also influenced my career focus in health education, wellness coaching, and program support. My work centers on practical, sustainable behavior change, with an emphasis on evidence-based strategies and respect for individual circumstances.
I work one-on-one with clients to create a supportive, collaborative space that builds confidence, encourages accountability, and supports meaningful progress toward personal health goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.

My Coaching Philosophy
My approach to health and wellness coaching is holistic and strengths-based, with a focus on positive psychology. I believe people already have what they need to make meaningful changes. My role is to help you recognize your strengths and use them in ways that support your goals.
Instead of focusing on what isn’t working, we’ll build on what is. Through conversation and reflection, we’ll talk about what motivates you, what matters most to you, and what’s already helping you move forward. We’ll also work on habits that support optimism, gratitude, and resilience, tools that can make challenges easier to handle.
Our sessions are collaborative and guided by you. I’ll meet you where you are and support you in setting realistic, values-based goals that feel manageable and meaningful. Progress doesn’t have to be all or nothing, it’s about growth, confidence, and taking steps that fit your life.
